The DLATEC brand
We have developed a visual system that ensures a consistent and recognizable identity for our clients. We believe that effectiveness starts with a solid, scalable design aligned with our values.
Below, you will find the guidelines we have developed in collaboration with FUGU to apply our visual identity accurately and consistently.
DLATEC is pronounced
'de-
la-
tec'
Our visual identity follows the same logic: clarity, coherence, and precision in every application.
Brand values and tone
Our identity goes beyond design. These are the values that guide us and the communication that reflects who we are.
What does DLATEC mean?
Originally, the name "Dlatec" was an abbreviated version of the founding partners' surnames: De Lathouwer and Almeida, along with the term Technical. In addition to Jorge and Alberto, now DLATEC, is much more.
Mission
Our mission is to provide versatile technical solutions that enable our clients to continue working efficiently and with confidence.
Vision
To be the benchmark in technical solutions for the medical sector in the Canary Islands, backed by technology and excellence in service.
Our Values

Innovation
Our claim
We take care of the technology that takes care of people
Tone of voice
Clear and direct
We communicate in a straightforward and comprehensible manner, avoiding unnecessary technical jargon, so our clients always understand our solutions. We focus on the problem and how we can solve it effectively.
Professional and approachable
Although we work with highly complex technology, we do not use distant or cold language. We want our clients to feel that we are their technical allies, capable of understanding their needs and providing personalized responses.
Reliable and accurate
Our communication must reflect our technical capability and expertise. We are transparent and direct, clearly stating what we can do and fulfilling our promises with precision.

Coherence and cohesion
Identifying a brand appropriately begins with each of its letters. Our typographic selection exemplifies this.
Designed by JTDType, Transducer combines the character of analog with the clarity and functionality of modern interfaces. We chose it for the logo due to its solid construction, reflecting DLATEC's evolution from past to present.
Montserrat
Montserrat, designed by the typographer Julieta Ulanovsky, is our main typeface. Its versatile and scalable design adapts to any format without losing clarity. Thanks to its wide range of weights, it allows flexible hierarchies while always maintaining a high level of accessibility and readability.

Key Themes
The idea is to make photography an extension of the brand's reality. Work situations, continuous support, precision in work, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Chromatic Range
The processing of images should aim for consistency with the rest of the brand's photographs. The range will try to align with neutral and cool tones, avoiding warmer tones.
